Haka experience

To begin with, we will set the scene for the group by showing a video made by New Zealand’s famous rugby team, the well-known All Blacks, so that they can see what this unique dance consists of and where it comes from.

The key to this activity is teamwork, so each participant will have to give their best. To add a touch of competitiveness to the game, we will divide the group into several teams and, once they have been created, we will begin to develop the Haka with a monitor in charge of each team, who will teach each participant the steps to follow until they have completely mastered both the dance and the song. In turn, the teams will also have the opportunity to add their own personal touch to the dances they have rehearsed, using any dance moves they can think of.

Once the teams have their Haka ready, we will move on to the final competition. Each team will have their own characterisation (costumes, face paint, etc.) and will teach their Haka to the rest of the teams.

Factors such as teamwork during the activity, creativity, originality, make-up, costumes, dance, etc. will be taken into account when choosing the winning team.

As a grand finale to this experience, all teams will come together and perform a Haka together.
